Commissioned album cover artwork combing the awesome Cyberpunk aesthetic and Lovecraftian Horror.
I wanted to do a different interpretation of Hastur the King in Yellow, less humanoid and cool organize golden spiky chitin "wings". I wanted to approach it with a POV that gives the viewer a feeling of intimidation. The King in Yellow started as a 3D model I sculpted in ZBrush, then painted over as I worked in Photoshop.
